All Ireland Open Taekwon-Do Championships 2009

The all Ireland TKD Championships will be held on the weekend of the 6th-7th of June 2009. Junior competition will be on the 6th and Seniors will be on the 7th. The venue is Roadstone Sports and Social Club, Nass Road, Dublin. For more info visit the website at AllIrelandOpenChampionships

Next Castaheany Junior Grading


The next junior grading will be held on Monday the 25th of June.

Master Paul Kavanagh VII is hosting a Master Class Seminar in Dunboyne Castle on May 3rd. This seminar is open to all Taekwon-Do adult Black belt & colour belt (over 16)practitioners regardless of federation or association.

The seminar will be followed by a colour belt grading, if you are due or have any students that are due to grade, the opportunity is available to grade under Master Kavanagh.

Ireland wins 2 Gold and 1 Silver medals

Congratulations to Ms Audrey Condon 3rd Dan from the RITA who represented Ireland at the World Veteran ITF Taekwon-Do Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan recently. Castaheany TKD school would like to congratulate Ms Condon on her excellent achievement.

Hall for Extra Training Available.

If anyone is interested in doing some extra Taekwon-Do practice Paul Nolan can get the hall in DCU Glasnevin. The days the hall is available vary and it'a usually available from 7-8pm. If you are interested contact Paul 083 3025951 to arrange booking the hall. You will need to give him advance notice.
